Privacy Policy
MOQify helps Shopify merchants run threshold-based preorder campaigns. We collect only the data required to authorize preorders, manage campaigns, send transactional notifications, and meet Shopify platform obligations.
What MOQify processes
Campaign and order data
Campaign configuration, related Shopify product and order IDs, preorder quantities, authorization amounts, payment mandate references, and order status transitions.
Buyer contact data
Buyer email, buyer name when available, and locale for order confirmations, cancellation notices, charge confirmations, and campaign outcome emails.
How data is used
- Authenticate merchants and maintain the embedded Shopify admin experience.
- Create and manage preorder campaigns tied to Shopify products.
- Collect payment authorization first and trigger mandate charges later when campaign rules allow.
- Release authorizations or issue refunds when campaigns fail or merchants terminate a campaign.
- Send transactional emails and support post-launch troubleshooting.
- Meet Shopify App Store compliance requirements, including data access and redaction requests.
Data sharing and subprocessors
- Shopify provides the commerce, checkout, order, and webhook infrastructure used by MOQify.
- Transactional email delivery is handled through Resend when merchant email notifications are enabled.
- Application hosting, database, and operational storage are handled through the app's configured infrastructure providers.
- MOQify doesn't sell merchant or buyer data.
Retention and deletion
- Shop and campaign records are retained while the app is active and only for as long as they are needed to operate MOQify.
- When a shop uninstalls the app, MOQify removes shop, campaign, order, and session records from its primary store.
- MOQify subscribes to Shopify compliance webhooks for customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact.
- Customer redaction requests anonymize retained preorder records that no longer need direct buyer identifiers.
